Volunteer Cleaning Assistant
Assist us to keep our Animal Centre fresh and sparkling for all our visitors, staff, volunteers and animal residents.
Overview
We have lots of regular cleaning duties to keep the centre well-presented for our animals, visitors, volunteers and staff. As a Volunteer Cleaning Assistant, you will play a vital role in these essential activities.
Main duties and responsibilities

Perform weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, such as hoovering, mopping, replenishing soap dispensers etc.

Empty the general waste and recycling bins around the centre and assist in our effort to recycle as much as possible

Occasional duties such as cleaning windows
Requirements for the role

All training will be provided so no previous experience will be required

A keen eye for detail

A desire to support the animal welfare work of the RSPCA
-
Ability to follow instructions and comply with RSPCA policies and procedures

Self-motivated and able to work alone as well as part of a team

Commitment to a regular shift at the animal centre

Participate in at least one fundraising event, collection or activity per year
