Corporate Partnerships

We exist because our community supports us. Without that support, we could not continue our work.

By partnering with the RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire Branch, your business becomes part of a local effort to protect animals and keep a vital service running.

If your business is interested in establishing a partnership with us, please email us to find out more.

RSPCA Chesterfield and North Derbyshire is an independent, locally run animal welfare charity, supporting animals across the area, including Chesterfield and its surrounding towns and villages, much of the Peak District and the Hope Valley.

Although we are affiliated to the national RSPCA, it is a common misconception that we are funded by them, which can prove challenging for us. We are dependent on public donations to keep our doors open and the day-to-day care of the animals that are rescued and brought to us is made possible through the support of local people and businesses.

We run an animal centre helping animals in need and in 2025 we have successfully adopted 375 animals into loving new homes. At any one time we have around 50 animals in our care.

It costs over £10,000 a week to keep our animal centre running. Food, heating, veterinary care, transport, staffing and maintenance are ongoing costs, and without consistent support, our ability to help animals is at risk. We spend between £50,000 and £60,000 a year on vet treatment alone.

Why local businesses are important to us

Local businesses are part of the same community we serve. Many employ people who live locally, care about animals and want to support causes that make a visible difference close to home.

We’re looking to build genuine partnerships that:

  • Help keep our centre operational
  • Give partner staff meaningful opportunities to get involved
  • Strengthen connections
  • Demonstrate real, local social responsibility

Every pound raised locally stays local.

What corporate support makes possible

Corporate partnerships allow us to:

  • Help animals in urgent need of veterinary treatment.
  • Provide ongoing care at our centre, rehabilitation and rehoming
  • Maintain safe, warm and well-equipped facilities
  • Plan ahead with greater confidence and stability

Just as importantly, a formal partnership allows businesses and their employees to see the impact of their support first-hand.

How businesses can work with us

We’ve developed a clear but flexible partnership structure to suit different organisations, budgets and levels of involvement. These are not rigid packages — they are starting points for conversation.
