Become a Trustee

As a trustee of a branch, you will have the chance to use your skills to help shape our organisation and how we care for and prevent cruelty to animals.

Overview

Our branch relies on volunteers to undertake a wide range of animal welfare work in our local area, such as fostering, fundraising, animal care and charity shop work to name a few. As a trustee of a branch, you will have the chance to be part of the governance of our branch, helping ensure that we deliver the best animal welfare services we can. You’ll be collaborating with a team of like-minded people making decisions collectively for the benefit of the branch.

Our trustees are from a diverse range of backgrounds and experience, some have been volunteering at the branch and want to get more involved and others are new to the branch bringing useful skills such as marketing, finance or fundraising. You would receive support and training in this role so no previous experience of being a trustee is needed.
